This needs to be reformulated with a focus on timelessness...
The exhibition presents the author's most recent work, which is based on realistic figurative sculpture. The central motif of the exhibition project is the courage to make a change. Taking a step into the unknown, without being paralyzed by fear, is often one of the most difficult and important decisions in our lives and can concern seemingly trivial matters as well as existential situations. Solitary and group installations and their often monumental execution aim to compulsively provide determination to all who need it at a given moment. Wire creatures hold up a mirror to what we are currently experiencing and at the same time can make us play out our own imagination. The exhibition is accompanied by the theme of pressure on individuals, whether from their own expectations or from society as a whole, and how to cope with it. At the exhibition, Psotková presents, among other things, the distinctive author's cycles Lazy Skin and Slippery Chair, but the dominant object is Pillar of Society, which is a unique presentation of the author's figurative site-specific compositions, which she completes directly at a specific location.
